The exhibition committee for the Museum of Northern California Art is pleased to announce the upcoming Behind the Scenes – Artist in Residency 2021. The accepted applicants are Meghan Lacombe, Jessica De La Cuadra, Gerardo Alvarado, Rebecca Canterbury, Susan Fuller, and Kimberly Ayers.
Each selected artist will be present during museum hours, Thursday – Sunday, 11:00 AM-5:00 PM, as well as during the reception. Artists will show their processes, meet museum visitors, and develop their art. This is an opportunity to meet the artists in person and get a glimpse into their creative process.
The third gallery space, Gallery You! will be a space open to the public to come and create. Bring your own supplies or use monca provided materials. Visitors are invited to stay an hour—stay all day!
