monca yArt Sale – August 22, 2020
Chico, CA – monca’s first fundraiser of the year, the “Truly Priceless yART Sale,” is Saturday, August 22. Doors open for members only at 9:00am, and to the public at 10am. The event ends at 4pm.
There are a couple of “play on words” here. A yART Sale is a yard sale with artists and designers available to help you purchase and repurpose donated items. What would a coat of paint do on that chair? Or, how would that painting look if you repainted (the frame) or reframed it?”
A “Truly Priceless yART Sale” is a yard sale where items are not priced. Instead donations are accepted per item to support art at the museum.
The sale is set up outside monca at 900 Esplanade on the Esplanade and Washington Street sides of the building.
COVID guidelines will be followed. Masks are required. Social distancing of 6 feet will be followed. Hand sanitizers will be available.
