Join us for this special evening of "Jazz at the Museum."  In collaboration with monca, Friends of the Arts, the True North Tour and the Nor-Cal Jazz Festival, we are thrilled to present - from New York City - Saxophone and Clarinet virtuosos, Peter & Will Anderson, making their first appearance in Chico.  Accompanying Peter & Will will be guitarist Felix Lemerie.

This will be a limited ticket event, featuring one of our favorite acts.  The Andersons are identical twins and graduates of the Julliard School at Lincoln Center.  The Anderson Boys have played four concerts for the Nor-Cal Jazz Festival in the past two years, in Redding, Weaverville, Red Bluff and Dunsmuir.  We are finally getting them to Chico in a fantastic setting- beautiful monca.  This will be a first for monca; hosting a concert in one of its spacious galleries with a new exhibit on the walls.

Hailed as "the future of jazz" by Quincy Jones, the trio will bring you to your feet and leave you calling for more.  They just completed their 8th album, "Blues for Joe,"  a tribute to one of their instructors at Julliard, Joe Temperley.  Joining them on the album are Peter Bernstein, Pat Bianchi and Kenny Washington.

Here's a link to a sweet version of THESE FOOLISH THINGS by the trio.   CLICK HERE

We'll have a no-host bar with fine ales from Sierra Nevada, as well as wines.

All proceeds benefit monca and the Nor-Cal Jazz Festival.

Tickets are tax deductible.
